Dr. Cheney is amazing because he is patient with my questions, and shares information that's helpful. He sometimes shares from a place that feels personal and that is extra reassuring. Dr. Cheney makes uncomfortable topics, that could be embarrassing, feel normal, and ok to talk about. I have had some Mental Health issues that I wish I didn't, and he has never made me feel judged or ashamed. He's listened very well and been kind in our conversations. I recently talked with him about possibly having a baby in my old age of 39 and I worried a doctor might think this was ridiculous. I just needed to be heard about this possibility and he was willing to listen and share what he understands about risks for my age. I was relieved that he was so ok having this conversation with me.

Dr Cheney took more time than any other primary care doctor I've seen to listen to my concerns and help come up with a plan. He didn't seem rushed at all. Highly recommended!

I've always been treated with care and respect from Dr Cheney

This was my first appointment with Dr. Cheney to establish him as my primary care provider. I was looking for an osteopath doctor who did osteopathic manipulation and Dr. Cheney does. I found it was hard to find, but he fit the bill. I went to him with back problems and he explained what he would do with the manipulation and also referred me to a pain clinic for shots in my back. I was very impressed with Dr. Cheney. My only complaint is that it is hard to get an appointment which seems to be an ongoing problem in all the medical practices in the Portland area.I had to wait for 2 months for my first appointment.

Dustin is always a joy to talk to.

In the waiting room, the time is very short. Dr Cheney is very thorough when explaining medications, procedures if any is needed. I am most grateful to Dr Cheney explaining about my hands that have severe oseoarthritist, and with the injections that he proposed my hands are free of pain and swelling and I can do my job at work as if I never had the problem. So Thankful!

My ER visit turned a bad set of circumstases to comfort, care, respect, and overall an overwhelming feeling that I was family. So grateful for all Involved. Take care.

Dr. Cheney is excellent. His bedside manner is top notch. Further, he collaborates and works with his patients to find an optimal plan for the management of conditions. What's more, he also shares his own struggles in managing health issues, making him more relatable and trustworthy. This connection, as well as shared governance in the plan of care, motivate me to be more proactive and eager to make strides in my own healthcare, thus leading to better outcomes. There's a reason I drive 40 minutes to see Dr. Cheney. As someone who also works in healthcare, I know a great practitioner when I see one. Dr. Cheney is excellent. Providence should be sure to give him a raise or extra bonuses this year. He needs to be retained!

Dr Cheney is the best! He was able to help me with all my issues, and since there were so many, I scheduled another appointment as soon as possible (non-urgent Issue). I am privileged to have an excellent doctor like Dr Cheney. He's a keeper!

I really appreciated my provider pulling up a seat closer to me, the nonverbal expressions that indicated he was listening, and that he used a clip board and paper to take notes about what I was saying and to show me his thoughts and ideas.
