Dr. Powell is the best doctor I've ever had in my entire life period the end. If he leaves Providence I will be lost. My husband sees him, and I refer strangers in my Uber to him too. Hope he gets the fattest raise in the world because he listens and helps like no other provider. He's really thorough and I value that. He is efficient and yet you never feel rushed. He remembers my husband and asks about him too. Every resident should compete to learn from him. They will make loads more money because they will create loyal patients for life.

My PCP is a good listener to my concerns. He spends all the time needed to be thorough. He genuinely wants to provide the best care possible for me, to keep me out of the hospital and live the best quality of life.

Dr. Powell is great

I have never had any bad experiences with my care nor any concerns. Dr. Powell is a gracious, patient and knowledgeable physician. He treats me with respect and as an active participant in my care; no paternalistic approach. Dr. Powell answers my questions with the appropriate level of education. He never appears rushed, although I know he must be very busy. Dr. Powell's calm approach always keeps me at ease about my health status. He Invites me to stay In contact with him via MYChart with updates on my blood pressure readings and any other concerns. He acknowledges and Informs me about the results of any test and blood pressure readings. This really helps me to know that Dr. Powell is fully Involved In my care. I feel very grateful to have Dr. Powell as my care provider. His knowledge and approach to care plays a hugh role In the process of health and healing.

I was scheduled as soon as NEEDED (in survey) but not as soon as I would have liked. But Dr. Powell is the best, worth a little wait.

Excellent Service

I have always looked forward to my appointments with Dr. Powell because he listens attentively to my concerns and gives me appropriate guidance. His skills as a practitioner are top notch! I hope to have him as my primary care doctor for many years.

I had an incredible first meeting with Dr. Powell. I did not have anything "on the agenda" for him, and thought it was just be a few minutes given that I had no health care issues and was just establishing care. But Dr. Powell spent quite a bit of time getting to know me -- certainly unexpected! I felt very well taken care of, and will feel as much when I do have an issue in the future.

Dr Powell has always been very caring and knowledgeable about my particular health issues. I hope to have him as my doctor through the end of my life. He's just great. P

I was very impressed with the visit I had with Dr. Powell. He is not my regular provider, but he looked through my medical records and even commented on a chest X-ray that I had many months ago. He gave me good advice about what to do about the nasty virus I contracted and made me feel better just knowing that what I had was going to get better. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a caring provider.

Dr. Powell is the best primary physician.

This visit with Dr. Powell was my first, and my first at Providence. Dr. Powell really listened and discussed my health concerns. I'm very impressed with his knowledge and his "bedside manner", and I'm thankful that he had room to take me as a patient.

Dr. Jesse consistently reviews my concerns, conditions, and medications with me. I chose Dr. Jesse because I feel confident that he will listen to me and answer my questions. Also, he does not order tests that I do not require at the time.

Dr Powell never seems rushed or time limited in discussing my complex medical management issues and factors related to aging.

First, I must say how grateful I am to have Dr. Powell as my personal physician. Of all the years I have been treated by various physicians, in various state, Dr. Powell is the kind of doctor that I always prayed and hoped for. Dr. Powell is one of a kind, and to think that I pick him based on his website bio! That was nothing but a divine appointment for me. Dr. Powell is a doctor who demonstrated respect for my ideas and supported me as a valued participant in my care. Whenever I questioned a procedure or medication, he did not dismiss my concerns, but answered all questions and addressed all concerns until I understood the rationale for his decisions; yet, he did not pressure me to just do what he thought was the correct thing to do. Obviously, he was always correct! I know Dr. Powell communicated my concerns to other members of the team which gave me a sense of support. Dr. Powell is a compassionate physician, He recognized that I was facing a number of stressful events. He took the time to consider the mental/emotional strain that these events were having on my health and wellbeing. Dr. Powell is a tremendous listener and amazing practitioner. I had complete confidence in his decision making. Dr. Powell qucikly and thoroughly responded to my email questions. Dr. Powell is a knowledgable physician, gracious individual, encourager and teacher. Since starting my care with Dr. Powell, I have seen remarkable success--to which I owe to his careful monitoring. I should also say that when I first registered for clinic services, I was met by staff and team members with the same comment--"Oh, you have Dr. Powell? You will like him--he is kind and a great doctor." If that does not give a new patient a great feeling! Thank you Dr. Powell for being such a great doctor. I owe so very much to you for your dedication to healthcare and the practice of compassionate medicine.
