Sandra V. Pertz, MD

Dr. Pertz, M.D. FAAP, joined Coastal Kids in 2014 after moving from Chicago to Newport Beach. As a Minnesota native, she is excited to be practicing pediatrics in warm & sunny Southern California! Dr. Pertz completed her undergraduate studies at Duke University, majoring in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Psychology. She received her Medical Degree from the University of Minnesota and completed her residency training at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago through Northwestern University. Previously a competitive figure skater, Dr. Pertz now enjoys being active via distance running and stand up paddling. She has traveled extensively internationally and loves exploring new places. Dr. Pertz and her family live in Newport Beach.
