Dr. Soneru is a Board Eligible Orthopedic Hand Surgeon who specializes in the evaluation and treatment of upper extremity traumatic orthopedic injuries including that of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hands. He is a graduate of Cornel University with a Cum Laude distinction in research. Dr. Soneru received his medical training at the prestigious Pritzker School of Medicine in Chicago, followed by Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the Northwestern University.
There he received extensive training and experience in the treatment of orthopedic fractures and musculoskeletal injuries and alignments. While an orthopedic surgeon he became more interested in the intricate surgery of the hand, and thus attended the world renowned C.M. Kleinert Institute for Hand and Microsurgery. Dr. Soneru is respected among peers not just for his surgical expertise but also for his humble dedication to and genuine interest in his patients.
