About Amanda D. Vandeventer
As a physician assistant, Amanda Vandeventer, PA-C, believes teamwork is essential when it comes to great medical care. "Whether it's between providers, or patients and providers, it's so important for mutual understanding," says Amanda. Amanda chose to become a physician assistant because it allows her the flexibility to spend more time with patients and maintain a good work-life balance. In her practice, she likes to emphasize quality, compassion and evidence-based care.
After earning her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Indiana University in Bloomington, Amanda received her master's degree in physician assistant studies from South College in Knoxville, Tenn. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Amanda was born in Tennessee and raised in Illinois. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, running and playing with her dogs.
