Brian D. Madden, M.D., he is originally from the East Coast, Dr. Madden received his undergraduate degree in neuroscience Magna Cum Laude from Brown University and moved to Los Angeles to pursue his medical degree at UCLA. After completing his Family Medicine residency in Santa Monica, he entered private practice and obtained certification in Hospice and Palliative Care.
Dr. Madden divides his time between caring for hospitalized patients as the Medical Director for Palliative Care at Providence Saint John’s Medical Center and as a primary care physician with the Doctors of Saint John’s Medical Group.
His clinical interests revolve around improving quality of life from newborns through those at the end of life and everyone in between, whether that means preventative care, treatment of illness or symptom management. He is adept at helping patients cope with illness in themselves or their families and customizing comprehensive treatment plans for his patients.
Dr. Madden, along with his wife and two daughters enjoy traveling, especially to the beaches of Mexico and deserts of California. He also enjoys sports, computer programming, and hopes someday to be launched into space (and return).
