My experience with this provider stretches over several years. His athletic lifestyle and focus hurt his ability to relate to my needs early in his career, so I went away. After a horrible experience with another provider I gave this provider another chance. So far, so good.

I am very confident in my doctor. Getting responses to questions through the office could be much better. Calling into the office has been difficult in the past and I now drive to the office to come in to get quicker answers and to schedule appointments. That seems to work well but is a bit frustrating. Once I do get to speak with a person at the office things go smoothly. This would unfortunately, be what I would have to share with another. I am very satisfied with the care once I am in the office and this would also be something I share.

Dr. White did not have my most recent surgery results, but they were only a few days before my appointment with him, and were with a non-Providence provider so I don't know how and when they were uploaded to the Providence my chart. I explained what had happened and Dr. White was immediately up to speed.My only complaint about scheduling, and it is not Dr. White's fault, is that the scheduling of my Wellness visit was 3 months or more out.

Dr. White is everything one could hope for in a Sports Medicine Doctor. He gave me excellent care. All the staff members at the Glisan St. Clinic are very kind, courteous and helpful. My one criticism is that it is very difficult for me to get through to speak with someone over the telephone, or to make a telephone appointment. The telephone wait times are terrible.

Dr White is truly an outstanding physician who could serve as a living template that young physicians would be wise to emulate.

Caring doctor

Overall Providence is doing good. I have not totally clicked with my doctors, but I am also a new patient and finding my way through. I appreciate the time the doctors have taken with me, but there has been a lot to cover, so it's been challenging to go over everything. I like the walk-in lab that makes it easy to get tests and X-rays without having to schedule an appnt.

Dr. Thayer White is an experienced and excellent physician. His personal demeanor during my appointment helped me to feel reassured. I would also like to commend the kind and informative way he explained my condition to me and the intern who was assisting him during my appointment. He has the skills of a good teacher.
