Came to dr. w/extreme CY good/news (best I've had in 28 yrs!) & he didn't even respond, positively (instead, was discouraging), scan my personal notes, ask for specifics, or act like it was any big deal. I was saddened by lack of empathy.

Dr. Fertig is compassionate and listens to my concerns with respect. This, in addition to his superb expertise, is why I travel more than an hour to see him instead of a local neurologist.

I sought out Dr. Fertig because I wanted an expert in my condition who is also a person with compassion, and he is both. I was highly satisfied and am changing my care to him from a different neurologist who did not communicate as well.

Best Neurologist ever. spends enough time actually listening so doesn't feel rushed and more quality care given than other places where your rushed thru in 15 minutes.

My referral was initiated by the ER after I had a seizure. The consult, testing and diagnosis all happened within days of my seizure. I feel that my providers and their staff made it so that what was probably one of the scariest and worst events of my life was really not so bad.
