About John R. Samples
John R. Samples, M.D. is formerly Professor of Ophthalmology at the Oregon Health and Sciences University (OHSU) and the Casey Eye Institute in Portland, OR. He was director of medical student education in ophthalmology at OHSU for 20 years. Dr. Samples is actively involved within the professional community. He has given numerous presentations, organized meetings, performed research and authored numerous peer-reviewed articles. Dr. Samples is in private practice and partners with us from The Eye Clinic.
