Dr. Kelsey Terland joined the Providence Alaska Medical Group Palliative Care Department in 2017. She completed medical school at University of Washington School of Medicine through the Alaska WWAMI program in 2013, family medicine residency training at Family Medicine Residency of Idaho in 2016, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship at Providence Alaska Medical Center in 2017. Within palliative medicine Kelsey has special interests in perinatal palliative care, medical ethics, and medical education. She serves as the WWAMI Medical Student Clerkship Site Director. Kelsey was raised in Oregon but moved to Alaska in 2006. In her free time she enjoys exploring the wilds of Alaska with her husband and two sons.
