S. Radi Shamsi, MD

After graduating cum laude with departmental honors, Dr. Shamsi went on to medical school at the University of California, Irvine College of Medicine. While in med school, Dr. Shamsi took a special interest in gastroenterology, the study of your stomach and intestines. He spent three additional years at the University of Southern California (USC), Keck School of Medicine, focusing on gastroenterology and hepatology. It was there that he mastered diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy and went through specialized training in the liver, bile ducts, and gallbladder.
