About Wayne L. Strauss

"I am passionate about caring for people with the full spectrum of lung diseases. I strive to help all of my patients improve their quality of life as we work together to develop a plan of care that meets their needs and goals." Dr. Strauss graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, WA. He completed his Ph.D in Bioengineering at the University of Washington School of Engineering. Dr. Strauss finished his internal medicine residency at the Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, WA and later completed a pulmonary, critical care fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). He brings several honors and awards to The Oregon Clinic - Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine, including the Neuropharmacology Autism Fellow from the National Alliance for Autism Research/Bristol Meyer Squibb. He has also received the NIMH Young Investigator Award from the New Center for Drug Evaluation Unit meeting and the Society of Nuclear Medicine Physicians Fellowship. When Dr. Strauss is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, outdoor activities, running, backpacking, skiing, and traveling.
