Professional Statement
The Orthopedic specialists at The Spine Cal Institute are highly qualified in treating neck, back, and spinal pain to help you return to a normal functioning level. Our surgeons and specialists stress conservative treatment of scoliosis, arthritis, lumbar pain, cervical pain, and other spinal disorders. The majority of spinal problems can be improved with a formal physical therapy program and, if needed, certain medications. The treatment of all our patients is under the supervision of Dr. Pablo R Pazmiño. When conservative treatment does not resolve the patient's problem, Dr. Pazmiño will determine if surgery is an option. Dr. Pazmiño is adept at all aspects of spine surgery from the neck to the low back region. If surgery is performed, our team of physicians, nurses, therapists, and assistants will guide the patient and his or her family through the pre and postoperative stages of surgery. We set a high level of quality in our patient care. A large portion of spinal surgeries require only a short hospital stay. This is made possible by the microscopic surgical techniques that our physicians use. For larger procedures pain control is provide by our pain management team postoperatively. In efforts to seek the best treatment for their patients, we specialize in pioneering the latest in instrumentation and implants.
