I specified a pharmacy pharmacy and they sent it to the wrong one multiple times, even after I double checked. also I was given antibiotics 4 a certain test that was positive in office, and then I got a phone call saying that I tested negative for those things and I needed to switch antibiotics prolonging the amount of time that I was taking antibiotics all together. so I basically took a full week of antibiotics that I didn't even need to take. I am not happy about that. at the time I was thankful that they had the in-office test because I was able to get a prescription right away.

the nurse that I had called about my issue didn't listen enough but insisted that she knows what the doctor can and cannot do. It seems she has the last say. Very rude [...]

While I did have an overall positive experience with my provider, I felt like the rest of my experience at the office was very poor. I was rushed through the office throughout the experience. I felt the provider was being rushed from one appointment to another without the time or ability to truly have a complete appointment with the flexibility to talk about any questions or concerns I may have had. I was rushed through the check-in process without the ability or time to finish my paperwork (even though I arrived very early to my appointment), and no one seemed to notice or care that the paperwork was left unfinished. [...] The overall experience felt like a rushed clinic with little attention payed to each individual patient, as opposed to just a number being shuffled through as quickly as possible. More significantly, it felt like this type of office would make it very easy for mistakes to be made, go unnoticed and potentially lead to negative outcomes. While my general experience with the provider herself was not bad, the rest of the experience was very poor, and would therefore greatly influence my recommendation to someone else about this office.

Dr. I stayed after her last patient to see me. Her nurse practitioner also stayed late to see me in follow-up. thank you ladies for the kindness and sensitivity,

I had to wait an hour - most of it in a packed and very loud waiting room. I found the whole situation to be very stressful and am not at all happy that my providers are not part of this very large group.

I like the doctors and staff the office I visit. the office wasn't so clean when I visited last time. A nurse told me that she called me too many times in the waiting room and I was there entire time (I arrived before my appointment time and was called after 20mins of my appointment time). The nurses rolled her eyes like I wasn't listening. It wasn't a present feeling

I had an extremely unpleasant experience at the Providence OB/GYN office on [...] I arrived at 10:15 for my scheduled 10:30 appointment with Iris Tamashiro, NP. I waited a little over 30 minutes in the front waiting room, then was taken to the back waiting room. While waiting they tried to draw my blood- 3 pokes, no blood. Back to the waiting room. I was finally put in an exam room at 12:00, an hour and a half after my scheduled appointment time. The NP got to the room at 12:15, and was unable to get the vaginal ultrasound probe to work. She even had someone else come in to try to get the machine to work. She did a quick abdominal ultrasound to try to see if there was anything in my uterus, and couldn't see much (needed the transvaginal). At that point I left at 12:25. 135 minutes after arriving. I had to be home to relieve the person caring for my child. So after 2 hours and 10 minutes I left with nothing. Nothing. No idea if my miscarriage was complete or incomplete. I am a reasonable person, with reasonable expectations. And I get that delays happen. But I feel this was unacceptable. [...]

Iris was wonderful. I have no problem with her care. However, I called a day or two before my appointment to warn her about some issues regarding my body that I'd like her to be aware of. There was no voice mail. The office receptionist WAS AGGRESSIVE HOSTILE. I'm telling her some personal issues and it seemed like I was bothering her. I was extremely vexed when I got off the phone with her. Needless to say, Iris did get the message and they were prepared for me. I wanted to be handled with kid gloves and really wasn't over the phone. During the visit, I WAS handled gently and with grace & humor. It is a lovely office. I just got a receptionist on a bad day, I think. [...] Bummer.
