Kavitha Bhatia, M.D., is a board certified pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Bhatia earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiology and Neuroscience with honors of Phi Beta Kappa and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of California, San Diego. She received her medical degree from the UCLA School of Medicine and was awarded Letters of Distinction in Doctoring. She completed her pediatric training and residency at UCLA and began practice as a pediatric hospitalist caring for pediatric transplants patients. She joined Providence Pediatrics in 2008 to practice general pediatrics. Dr. Bhatia has a dedication to improving the lives of children beyond her practice through charitable work which has included working with Mother Teresa in her Missions of Charity, teaching inner city youth and serving in advisory roles for national and global humanitarian causes. She holds a Masters in Medical Management from USC Marshall School of Business in order to improve the delivery and practice of medicine. She is married and her most valuable experience has been raising her own three children.
