Dr. Kwan was very helpful and professional

Dr. Kwan and the other doctors always do whatever needs done, including lab analysis, call back and faxing record to specialists.

Dr Kwan examined a growth I have on my face. She performed a biopsy and gave me a preliminary diagnosis. Two days later she called me at home to update me. she advised me that it was cancerous but was treatable. She gave me two surgeons that I could contact to have it removed. Dr Kwan is very Professional and put me at ease from the moment she entered the exam room.

I usually see Dr. [...] at this practice, however, her schedule was full so I went to see Dr. Kwan for a procedure. Although Dr. Kwan performed the procedure well, she was not very warm and seemed in a hurry. I also almost passed out and Dr. Kwan didn't even notice. Thank goodness the nurse was in the room and took care of me.

Knowledgeable & thorough. I like all providers in this office & have confidence in them.

Doctor was on time, took time to listen to my concerns and gave me answers I could understand. I am very satisfied with the treatment I receive from this doctor.

very nice doctor!

Doctors are very patient and understanding.

Excellent! [...] She was very nice!!!

The doctor came in and did not introduce herself. Did not examine my skin issue until I GOT UP AND WALKED OVER TO HER to show her. Spoke to me in a condescending, demeaning manner about getting pregnant at my mature age can happen. (Yes, I know, I'm educated). Spoke about how all natural ingredients don't all mean that. Yes, I know, I'm educated and eat a plant based, nonGMO, organic diet and shop exclusively at natural markets.) Offered no explanation of my condition. I will not return to see this doctor EVER. This was surprising since I typically have a wonderful experience.

This was first visit to a dermatologist as well as this Dr. Kwan. In my opinion, her bedside manner has much to be improved. I never felt so deterred from returning to any kind of professional than with this experience. She speaks very quickly and only gives you the most basic information of your concerns (ie whether or not my concerns of cysts and varying types of skin damage should be treated medically). Her priority appeared to be to figure out whether or not my skin damage was a real concern and if not, quickly teach me the facts regarding proper sunscreen use. I did appreciate the tips and the sample. However, she spoke so quickly that I could hardly process the information she was giving me. I prefer my doctors to explain the reasons/possible causes of my predicaments rather than to just label them. I felt like I was someone taking up her time rather than being a patient that was cared for.

The doctor was very brief, and brushed off my concern for my symptoms without making an effort to look into them more closely.

Hard to speak with my doctor if I have a problem.

She did not do anything . I needed some pre cancer skin issues burnt off and she could not do it. I thought the apt was a total waste of time [...].

Very friendly but could have provided more information about procedures to remove/treat cancerous growth on hand.

she couldn't solve the pain/sensitivity on my lower lip. didn't write follow up instruction for the warts on my heel.

today I waited over an hour in the exam roomI complained about the wait 3 times to the receptionist and was told that nurse Kwang was little behind. when she came she said she was never told that we were in the room waiting . so this is pretty poor service from the office and her assistants . over an hour waiting in the exam room is unheard of and lying to the patient is even worse

I believe Dr. Kwan is thorough, and I'll go back to her next year. I appreciate that she was running on time. However, she didn't have great eye contact during the visit and didn't seem overly friendly. I'm not too bothered by that because she was quick and efficient, but I know others might not like her approach. That's the only concern I would have about referring her to someone else - it would need to be someone who isn't looking to chitchat a lot and/or doesn't need a gregarious provider (for lack of a better way of terming someone who is pretty warm and outgoing).

I Am Always Treated With Kindness And Respect, Especially From The Receptionist, In The Office. She Always Calls Me By Name.

They even took me in early!

Dr Kwan was outstanding and solved my issues!

I would never go back to this doctor

Thorough, knowledgeable, easy to get an appt. w/in reasonable time frame.
