Dr. Ramirez was born in Panorama City in California's San Fernando Valley but as an infant, moved south with her family to Orange County. After attending the University of Southern California, Dr. Ramirez pursued the field of pediatrics because she was drawn to the relationships she could develop with her patients from birth to young adult.
Dr. Ramirez's philosophy centers on the development of healthy lifestyles, beginning in the earliest stages of life, and focusing on early intervention. She relishes the opportunity to become involved in a child’s growth and development, providing guidance to children and their families throughout childhood, adolescence and beyond. In addition, she has spent time in New Zealand working in a children's hospital, studying pediatric endocrinology and the prevalence of adolescent obesity.
Dr. Ramirez has published multiple abstracts in the field of cardiology and she has conducted research in cardiology, pediatric disaster preparedness, pediatric infectious diseases and adolescent psychology.
In her free time, Dr. Ramirez loves to travel, read, exercise, attend football games and spend time with her family and friends.
