About Michael A. Waddick
Dr. Michael Waddick says he made the decision to become a physician based on his desire to provide compassionate care to those who are medically underserved. "I believe in treating the whole person," he says. "By this, I mean it's imperative to look beyond a patient's acute symptoms and take into account the social and cultural context in which their health issues are occurring."
Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Waddick earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine in Madison. He completed his internship and residency at Swedish Family Medicine in Seattle.
Dr. Waddick was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. When not working, he enjoys windsurfing, hiking and camping. He is fluent in Spanish.
