Professional Statement
Sreedevi Pitta, M.D., was inspired to become a physician by two incidents from her childhood - her father suddenly losing his eyesight and her grandfather being diagnosed with liver cancer. "I was impressed by the dedication and perseverance of the doctors who treated them," she says. "This inspired me to pursue medicine so I could help others during their difficult times."

Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. Pitta earned her medical degree from Kurnool Medical College in India and completed her residency at Family Medicine Spokane. She chose to practice family medicine so she could provide care to all members of a family, regardless of gender, age or type of medical problem.

Dr. Pitta, who was born and raised in India, is married and has a son. Besides spending time with her family, she enjoys traveling abroad, watching movies and gardening. She speaks Telugu and Hindi fluently.

provider did not seen interested in me at all she was not familiar with some of the issues I have been dx with I am not sure if I can continue with this dr I will give them a few more tries but not impressed at all do not feel she could help me

I asked to have FMLA paperwork filled out for an [...] incident of gout, which I have been on medication for about 10 years, and for a condition which I have been approved for by my previous PCP several times. I did not come in during my flare, and Dr. Pitta declined to even look at the paperwork. I have had the paperwork filled out in the past without an office visit during the flare. She did see it pertinent that I have blood work done for this condition, however.

my appointment was scheduled for 1:45. emails said to arrive at 1:30. I arrived at 1:30. doors were locked with a notice the office was closed from 1-2 for a staff meeting. very very upsetting. I almost left because I thought I had the day wrong. there was no notice or instructions. I called and spoke to someone who confirmed my date and appointment time. told me they would unlock the doors soon' so I waited along with 5 other confused people who had appointments.

I just switched to this provider as my previous provider was not very responsive to my needs. When I voiced my concerns to the Clinic Manager, she immediately took action and suggested Dr Pitta instead. It was a great improvement.

Not sure what info was offered to prospective life insurer, but it created some confusion. "Chronic fatigue syndrome" was identified. But in a follow-up letter, my PCP wrote that it is "not a chronic condition". Throughly confusing, and I may not get the life insurance as a result.

changing from Dr. [...] to Dr. Pitta, [...] Had a excellent first meeting with Dr. Pitta

I am very pleased with the care I have received from Dr. Pita and the staff at Pmg Tanasbourne Clinic.

I have a good time with my provider.she is a good doctor

I have never had anything bad to say about them, I always get great care.

I am severely hearing impaired and have visited this clinic and interacted with this staff multiple times, but have to remind every one that I can't hear well and need them to speak up. I would appreciate it if someone would note my chart.

Always satisfied with Dr Pitta - and - her staff.

Scheduled a new patient physical exam to have medications refilled. I never got the physical exam because we went over my 3 medications. Now I have to schedule another appointment (which means taking more time off of work) for a physical exam. Cannot see the provider on the next date I was able to take off so now I have to see someone else.

She prescribed a new med that the pharmacy said I needed to check with the Doctor since I really should stop one of my meds before starting the new one. I called for this provider and her nurses called me to find out the problem and said they would talk to her and get back to me, that was 2 weeks ago and no one has called.

I brought up my concern about psoriasis and provider simply disregarded what I had to say and said I should see a dermatologist without listening. I also brought up my concerns to get an order for X-rays for my liver since I have hep b and disregarded what I said again to say I need to see my pcp when I was already there or to mychart my provider. She was short and gave me less than 4 minutes of her time.

Usually very good, but this visit unaccompanied by a relative, was the exception. I didn't think she listened to me,or to my questions and provided stock answers to my questions.

very good.thank you

This was an appointment to establish care. I have many medical issues occurring and I really need a PCP that can take the lead. That is hard to find, but that's what I'm looking for. I really liked the assistant thday took me into the exam room and checked me in, but the provider herself was not a good fit. She went through my record thoroughly, but it felt extremely generic. Many of the issues I brought up felt like she deflected that care to another provider, so I felt frustrated by the end. She was nice, friendly, but there was no connection, I feared the language barrier might be an issue, and I generally felt like I was just another patient or appointment rather than an individual with specific needs and issues. I just felt hopeless by the time I left. :(

Dr Pitta is awesome!

Among the very best and extremely professional in Her Field of Medicine

This was a first time visit and everyone was really friendly and easy to talk with. Thank you from the receptionists to the Dr.

to the point and efficient. loVery her.

I called the doctor's office after getting the results of my blood test from MyChart. I was concerned because my B12 level was high. I was told to just stop taking B12. I said I still had symptoms of numbness in my legs and arms. I was told to either go to the emergency room for tests or they would refer me to a neurologist. I asked for the name of a neurologist. I was told that it would be better to go to the emergency room because they could do a lot of tests to rule things out and it would take too long to get to see a neurologist. So I went to the emergency room. The admitting nurse and the doctor wondered why I was there. The doctor said the only test they would do is a chest xray which she said my doctor could have just ordered at the clinic. So they just repeated the blood work (even though it was done four days prior). [...] My provider should not have said to go to the emergency room for a non-emergent issue.

Dr. Pitta always takes time to listen and asks me good questions

I felt Dr. Pitta was angry and that I was wasting her time. The examination was rough and when I left I started feeling some pain and discomfort which got worse over time. I did go back and saw someone else because I was feeling sick.

dr pitta is very thoural and always answers my questions.

Appointment availability!

Very informative and helpful

urine sample lost had to go back following week to redo. no follow up to first, I had to ask for results. They then realized it was lost.

[...] their computer system was down for the day and they were not able to access my info.

Very courteous and friendly.

She is excellent!

Dr Pitta has been very kind and helpful

Only issue is sometimes they are slow or don't answer the phone.

Sreedevi explained things well with a clear understanding of the scientific basis for what she was saying. She also ordered additional testing in case her primary hypothesis was incorrect.

Provider was great. She explained all the things. Heard about the concerns. All was good. Perfect.

I have had great service with all of my provider at Providence.

Dr. respected that I was consulting her to exclude a potential problem, listened carefully and set my mind at rest, while recommending treatment for the condition.

came in for a Pap Smear and to talk about my irregular, extremely painful (to the point I can't go to work or function). I came out with nothing can be done or changed. I waited over an hour past my appointment to see my provider and she didn't even do my Pap smear. she didn't have time. I will NEVER be going back. My provider is an incompetent, lazy nonempathic MD. Plus I'm sorry she talks fast and you can't understand her very well. Yor system is why people don't go to the doctor. Because our needs are not met.
