With the exception of the ultrasound tech, this staff is very rude and rushy. Transferred as fast as possible to another provider.

my last visit I felt shuffled around. I was pushed from one room to another and it was a little overwhelming.

The only problem I had with this visit (other than the receptionist addressing my husband instead of me) was the wording on the paperwork. I had gone in for an ultrasound and the paperwork explained that they wanted to test for Down syndrome to make sure that the baby is "normal.". To me that implies that if you are disabled, there's something wrong with you, meaning there's something wrong with me because I was born with Cerebral Palsy

She was surly and glared at me. Her pelvic exam was particularly painful.

I was experiencing symptoms that I shared with my care provider, she ran some generic tests (that I had already recently done and passed with negative results) and told me nothing was wrong. A week later I have a fever of [...], my baby's heart rate is [...]. Turns out I had a bad infection, probably PID. If my doctor would have done a blood test, she would have seen that my white blood cell count was very high. Instead, she treated me like I was overreacting. I am sure she is used to having women who think every ache and pain is a problem, but I know what should be considered normal and the pain I was experiencing should have been more of a concern to her.

Dr Cordeiro is such a personable and kind physician. From the time she walks in the room she makes you feel well-cared for and that your concerns are important. I was so impressed that she also included inquiry into my emotional and social well being as well as just the medical aspects. I feel fortunate to have her as my Gynecologist
