Dr. Raj was attentive and sensitive to my needs. Dr. Raj provided printed background information about my particular health concern. He was thorough with my health history and offered to close the gaps on missing medical information. After my meeting Dr. Raj, we parted ways and I was left sitting in the room by myself, unclear of what is to happen next. It was suggested that I follow-up with a new appointment for blood test (since I didn't fast that morning), but I didn't know if a nurse/clerk was coming in or if I needed to leave the room. Overall, the routine check-up was what I expected it would be as a relatively healthy young adult. I look forward to meeting Dr. Raj and his group again in the future.

My doctor told me to email my previous medical record. But the staff won't give his email address. the file can not be uploaded to MyChart, but it can be mailed. It is waiting on my computer for a year now. I tried multiple time to ask for an email address. It is your office that requested the record for a year now. I don't have a problem...

Dr. Raj is a great doctor, really knowledgeable and very attentive. I don't mind the 20 minute drive to Bethany because the level of care I receive there is much better.

If my history is known, and my desire to see a specialist is not unusual then at the most a call with my primary should be enough and scheduling a pre-appointment before I go is just delaying my care

I had an appointment with Dr. Raj. He gave me absolutely no help towards helping me with my neck pain. I asked him if maybe it was something I was eating that may be triggering my arthritis and asked if he thought it might be my diet. I asked him if he was a Natural Dr that could maybe give me a list of foods that may help with arthritis. the was then very boastful about explaining that he spent years in school to be a medical Dr. I was just inquiring about different ways to resolve my pain. He may be a medical Dr, but is unable to think outside the box and put troubleshooting and/or give strategic advice on how to deal with my pain. He is the worst Dr. I have ever seen! I am very disappointed with Providence. [...] Finally, I still haven't received a phone call for my MRI appointment. It has been almost 2 weeks! [...]

Lady who scheduled the appt. over the phone was awesome. My PCP wasn't available but she worked to get me an appt. that day for my "emergency."

They asked a few new questions, asked some follow-up questions, noted I was doing worse since 6 months of no contact and cancelled apointments (until forced to schedule due to physical injury) and offered no new care possiblies, dispite how the previous options failed. It feels like 5 minutes was spent in my case before the actual appointment and no one actually cares. Just a job with cases lined up that need getting through.

Dr raj is one of the most condescending , cold hearted providers i have ever seen at providence. I have been with providence for 15 years, I owe my children to one of your amazing docs at providence st vincents so I was beyond upset at the treatment i was given by Dr raj . he spoke to me like i was trash, he made assumptions without having all my records from my last doc. he was literally so bad when he left the room the nurse came in to help calm me down because i was so upset I was crying

Dr. Raj really cares about his patients. I could tell that he studied my medical records, test results, and notes from other doctors before meeting with me. We discussed them and he addressed my questions and concerns. He has a very pleasant personality that immediately put me at ease. He listened closely to what I said. He gave me his full attention during the appointment and made direct eye contact. (Unlike some doctors I've had who look at their computer screen or notes more than they look at me.)

Every question seems to be centered around my uterus. He is more concerned about my ongoing fertility (I've been sterilized over 2 years), if I had permission from my then boyfriend to have sterilization surgery and how any issue from a needed refill of my my asthma inhaler to the fact that I'm finishing a masters degree all will affect my fertility. He was incredibly patronizing at the least and downright sexist and rude with his line of questioning. I have seen him on three separate occasions and he has brought up this line of questioning twice. I will be switching providers.

I am not accustomed to be lectured like I am a 2 year old. I asked for pain medication refill and was told no at first, then lectured! I have a fused neck that is not healing correctly and am in pain. I have had 1 prescription for pain medication in the last 6 months. Being told that I would become addicted and join the problem opioid addicts is insulting. When he says I will take your word for it that I had only had 1 prescription - I got mad and walked out. [...] they should LISTEN and try to help. Not just give me a lecture on opioid addiction. I also have a fused spine, been through this before. I have never been so insulted and angered!

I'm a newer patient of Dr. Raj, so he is not that aware of my history. He was however sent all my records from my previous doctor. When I called in between two trips requesting pain medication, he refused. If he had taken the time to review my medical history, he may have made a different decision. I had to go to the emergency room for pain on my trip and come home early from a trip to [...]. His decision cost me money and I lost out on spending time with my family.

I felt like this provider was very insensitive to my concerns. I had pretty much narrowed down my health concern and he laughed at my "prognosis" pretty much told me that it was not possible for me to have the condition (which is so untrue). Then after telling me that it was not possible to have the condition, he offered to send me for an ultra sound. Why would I seek further treatment under the care of someone that told me my concern was invalid? I was very upset and I will not see this physician again. Even if he felt as though I should not be as concerned about the severity of my condition/non condition, the way he went about it was arrogant and unnecessary. I will be seeing another doctor for a second opinion at the first of the year, and even if they give me the same recommendation to not be concerned, I would like to get that opinion from someone who does not make me feel like an idiot. I was furious by the time my appointment was over, it took everything in me to not walk out in the middle of the office visit.
