Melanie Lipke, RD, CD, CDE

Melanie Lipke is a Registered Dietitian (RD) and a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) at Providence Medical Group. She is dedicated in assisting those with pre-diabetes, gestational diabetes, and type 1 or type 2 diabetes to overcome challenges and improve self-care knowledge in order to establish a healthy lifestyle routine. She is also a lifestyle coach for the Diabetes Prevention Program with experience in diabetes prevention and management. Melanie is knowledgeable in diabetes technology such as continuous glucose monitoring systems. Her goal is to help improve other’s health by listening, educating, and guiding patients to help them make progress towards realistic goals. She believes that is not a one size fits all approach to diabetes care. Melanie received her Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. She completed her dietetic internship at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. Melanie has worked for Providence since 2008 and continues to provide compassionate care. Melanie loves spending time outdoors on her paddleboard and enjoying time with her family.
