Dr. Khan earned her MBBS at Khyber Medical University and a Master's in Public Health at Yale School of Public Health. Dr. Khan is a resident training in Internal Medicine at Providence Portland Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency Program.
Dr. Khan was born, raised and educated in Pakistan. She moved to the US after getting married to her lovely husband with whom she has two beautiful kids. In the past years, she has lived both on the west and east coasts. Though the east coast is beautiful in its own way, Samreen has to say that she and her family are so excited to be back on the west coast!!! They love being outdoors and can’t wait to explore Oregon. Having experienced the healthcare system both in a developing and a developed nation, she truly understands the importance of prevention along with curative medicine in any setting. Taking this understanding to a professional level, she pursued a Master’s in Public Health along with a Preventive Medicine Residency. She is extremely passionate about primary care, as she feels it is a perfect platform to preach prevention along with cure and, in the process, add both quality and quantity of life to her patients. Besides medicine, she loves cooking, talking over a cup of tea with friends, hiking, biking, meditation, yoga, watching sports and sometimes binging on a Netflix series!!
