Leslie Bettencourt, RD, CSOWM

A Registered Dietitian since 2005, Leslie's breadth of patient care spans bariatric nutrition, adult acute care, long-term care and rehabilitation. During her time living on the US gulf coast, Leslie was a bariatric dietitian for Sacred Heart Surgical Weight Loss Center in Pensacola, Fla. She found deep satisfaction supporting her patients through the surgery process and witnessing their hard-earned success in achieving improved health and quality of life. "Working with each individual to develop goals and behaviors that lead to resolution of chronic illness is my first priority," Leslie says. "My focus is to support the lifelong health of my patients. Gaining an understanding of each person's unique narrative allows me insights to how best guide patients to their goals."

Leslie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition, Summa Cum Laude, at Cedar Crest College and completed her dietetic internship at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Penn.

In her personal time, Leslie enjoys hiking and camping with her husband and daughter, running, cooking, and reading a good book with kitties in her lap.
