I believe that women have the right to be heard, respected and offered options when it comes to decisions about their health care. I promote a balance of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well being. I am passionate about bringing quality, evidence-based healthcare, including preventative care to diverse populations.

In my free time I like to get outside, whether it's cycling, visiting the beach, hiking, or gardening. I'm also mechanically oriented and skilled in bicycle maintenance.

This was my first visit after being told I had gestational diabetes. She looked at my numbers and just told me I had to start medications. She did not seem interested in looking at my log with me or talking about what could be going on. I felt pushed into medications and that the option for a diabetic educator one on one session was only suggested because I adamantly said I didn't want to just start medications.Providence Patient
