Dr Kim explains his information very clearly, he answers questions and repeats information if we have questions, and he LISTENS to what we say or ask with complete attention and courtesy. Whatever we ask him about my situation, he gives us his complete attention. I feel like I am being cared for and cared about as an individual and not just as a medical condition.

Dr. Laurence Kim have been always professional as my doctor. He ask me about my health, ask me if I have any questions or clarifications about my health, gives me suggestions, and prescribes me medications as needed. He checks and listens to my lungs and checks my x-rays to check that everything is good. I am very comfortable with Dr. Kim as my Pulmonologist.

I really like Dr Kim. He took a lot of time reviewing my CT and discussing next steps.

The first visit with this Provider was a bit rocky as my question involving tumor, vs. Nodule vs cyst was apparently misinterpreted as not trusting the Doctor's judgement when it was my lack of understanding of the definition of the medical term. This Specialists response to me seemed a bit prideful and Impatient, but It only got better after that with a fantastic relationship in my future follow-up visits.

Dr Kim was concerned about my blood pressure being high, recommended that I take it at home and watch my pressure to make sure that it stays at a healthy level. Suggested that if it continues to be high to discuss with my primary doctor regarding sleep apnea.

Although Dr. Kim is a specialist, my visits with him makes me wish he had a general practice because he does listen and he does know the patients history. He's not judgmental or hasty to push you out. My visits with Dr. Kim have been the best experience I've had with St. Jude.
