About Parham Zarrini

Parham Zarrini, M.D. M.B.A. is a clinical cardiologist, specializing in advanced heart failure, coronary artery disease and cardiac arrhythmias. Dr. Zarrini additionally completed a fellowship in women’s heart disease and is passionate about heart disease prevention and treatment of microvascular dysfunction. He also specializes in cardiac imaging, and is highly trained in echocardiography and nuclear imaging. As an avid researcher, he has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and has presented his work at various national conferences including the American College of Physicians, American Heart Association and American College of Cardiology annual meetings.

Dr. Zarrini grew up in Los Angeles and received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors. He subsequently received a M.D. M.B.A dual degree from the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Zarrini completed his Internal Medicine residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center and went on to complete an additional Women’s Heart Disease fellowship at the Barbara Streisand Women’s Heart Center at Cedars Sinai. He then completed his Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at the University of Miami / Jackson Memorial Hospital, one of the largest acute care hospitals in the United States, caring for a diverse population across South Florida and the Caribbean.

Dr. Zarrini is very passionate about medical ethics, and during his training served as the hospital’s ethics committee representative and completed the Fellowship at Auschwitz for the Study of Professional Ethics (FASPE). He compassionately focuses on understanding each patient’s values and beliefs, takes special care to help them understand their underlying condition, and works together with his patients to develop a therapeutic plan that they can best comply with and thrive.

When he is not in the office or hospital, Dr. Zarrini loves traveling and exploring the great outdoors with his wife and two daughters.
