Dr. Li attended Qingdao University Medical College and later earned a Ph.D. in physiology and neurosciences at the University of South Florida. He completed his neurology residency training at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). He also completed one-year fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology (EEG, EMG, Nerve Conduction Study) at MUSC before joining Olympia Neurology in 2006. Dr. Li is board certified in electrodiagnostic medicine and neurology and is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Dr Li practices general neurology with special interest in neuromuscular disorders including Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS) and Electromyography (EMG). He has published research studies in the following scientific journals: Epilepsy and Behavior, Pediatric Neurology, the Journal of Neurophysiology, and Photochemistry & Photobiology.
