About Pamela Maur
Dr. Pamela Maur is a board-certified Cardiologist who provides comprehensive cardiovascular care with a special focus on Cardiac Imaging and Women's Health. Dr. Maur is originally from South Carolina, which is where she completed her medical training. She completed her Internal Medicine and General Cardiology fellowship training at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. Prior to moving to Santa Rosa, California, Dr. Maur practiced with Tower Health, a very busy hospital in suburban Pennsylvania, where she was chosen as one of the top cardiologists in the local area by her peers. In her spare time Dr. Maur loves to travel and learn about local cuisines and wine, playing tennis, cooking, and hiking. She is excited to join the St. Joseph Health Medical Group and is looking forward to serving the local community long-term.

Most of your questions are tailored to a PCP practice. When you see a specialist, Cardiologist, Oncologist etc their processes are somewhat different e.g appts are made 6 moths in advance or whatever your individual follow up is. As a female I so appreciate having a female cardiologist as female research/treatment/symptoms are different from males. Dr Mauer is professional, empathetic, explains the plan clearly,I love her approach. She is a great role model for the office staff of a big, very busy practice.
