About Nicholas A. Pettit
Dr. Pettit earned his medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences/College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific and is a resident training in Internal Medicine at Providence Portland Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Pettit is a Portland native who graduated from the University of Portland with a degree in Biochemistry. He then worked as a research assistant at Oregon Health & Science University focusing on inborn errors of metabolism. During this time, he also worked as a medical scribe in a local emergency department. In medical school, Nick became interested in education and point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) and participated in multiple volunteer and research projects aimed at improving these areas.
