About Donald P. Ericksen

Donald Ericksen, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who has practiced in Montana for over twenty years. He provides treatment and surgery for a wide range of orthopedic injuries and conditions. His practice includes sports medicine, joint replacement, fracture care and reconstructions of the knee, shoulder as well as foot and ankle. Dr. Ericksen completed medical school at the University of Washington in Seattle. His post graduate training included an internship in general surgery at Loyola University in Chicago, residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Washington and an advanced fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Dr. Ericksen was born in Kalispell, Montana and then grew up primarily in northwest Washington. His family includes his wife Sara, a physical therapist, and their three children - Ingrid, Leif and Kirsti. In addition to his hospital and clinic-based practice, he has a long history of volunteer coverage of athletic events throughout Montana. Primary non-work adventures include upland bird hunting and fly fishing.
