About Michael L. Caravelli

Michael Caravelli, M.D., joined Queen of the Valley's orthopedic surgery team in January, 2021. Dr. Caravelli specializes in minimally-invasive knee and hip surgery with expertise in robotic-assisted hip replacement and knee surgery. He performs total, partial, and revision knee surgeries and treats osteoarthritis both operatively and in the clinic setting.

With more than a decade of experience, Dr. Caravelli is well-known for his expertise and trusted by patients and physicians alike for his skill and attention to detail. With a focus on improving the overall quality of life for his patients, Dr. Caravelli's goal is to ensure his patients can reduce pain and return to full function and independence as quickly as possible.

"My main goal is to liberate my patients from any limitations caused by their joint pain," he said. "With robotic surgery, we are able to predictably reproduce a patient's anatomy and give them a joint replacement that is uniquely their own, allowing them to get back to doing the things they love, faster."

He is continually monitoring quality and outcome data to improve the patient experience and improve health care delivery for all. He is excited to join Queen of the Valley's orthopedics team and be part of the positive, patient-centered culture that is the heart of this community hospital.
