Alexander Tovar, MD, is board certified in general surgery and specializes in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery. He received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School. He completed both his internship and residency in general surgery at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. Dr. Tovar's clinical areas of expertise include bariatric surgery. He is a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Tovar is committed to providing the highest quality care for his patients. His approach involves understanding the patient's health care needs and implementing state-of-the-art techniques and compassionate care.
