Rahul N. Desai, MD

Rahul N. Desai, M.D., is the co-founder of RestorePDX, an interventional sports and spine clinic. He is a fellowship-trained musculoskeletal and spinal interventional radiologist. His practice is focused on helping patients get relief from chronic pain through advanced diagnostic imaging, evaluation and cutting edge therapies. Dr. Desai received his undergraduate degree at Ohio State University, where he was a National Merit Scholar, and his medical degree at the Medical University of Ohio. He went on to complete his radiology training at the University of Toledo Health Sciences Campus, where he also served as Chief Resident. In 2007, Dr. Desai was accepted into the prestigious Musculoskeletal (MSK) and Spinal Intervention Fellowship Program at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University in St. Louis. During that time ,Dr. Desai solidified his love of musculoskeletal radiology, sports medicine and pain management while providing these services to the St. Louis area's major league sports teams. Dr. Desai has been practicing interventional pain management and providing musculoskeletal and sports medicine radiologic and dynamic ultrasound interpretation/evaluation in the Portland metro area since the summer of 2008. He founded RestorePDX in July 2013. Dr. Desai enjoys Portland with his wife Nisha and his four daughters, Sahana, Siya, Suraya and Seva.
