Alice Nayak, MD, likes to emphasize the importance of the physician-patient relationship in her medical practice. Dr. Nayak earned her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Oregon Health & Science University.
Dr. Nayak is married to fellow clinic physician Navin Nayak, MD, and together they have a son and a daughter. Away from her practice, she enjoys cooking, yoga and doing crafts with her kids.

I have had only excellent healthcare experiences with Dr. Nayak. She is very attentive to problems and does not ignore issues that I raise. Re/your issue of discussion of a goal for health, I feel like I need to discuss control of weight and general fitness. With a BMI right at 30, I should be discussing weight control, diet, and fitness. Also, I feel that I am relatively fit, but the feeling of being short of breath, coupled with heart arrythmia, makes me wonder about some other causes that have not been considered.

First I made an appointment to my doctor which was 2 weeks ahead. Then the office called/emailed me she does not have enough time available to address my needs. I rescheduled a month ahead, but they called me again that she does not have enough time. . . . At that time, the receptionist was super nice and helpful. She scheduled a sooner appointment with another provider in their office. I'm so glad that I didn't need to wait that long since my symptom got worse. Also, this provider was an amazing doctor who took care of me very well.
