Kate trusts a woman's innate ability to birth her baby when given space to listen to her body. She approaches her work with compassion and practicality, focusing on mom's needs as they change to encourage calm and comfort. Kate's goal is to provide moms and their partners with gentle guidance so they may confidently make decisions that are best for them.
After receiving her bachelor's degree in sociology, Kate found birth work as a rewarding outlet for her interest in community and family interactions and went on to earn her birth doula certification through DONA, International. She has supported hundreds of families through their journey to parenthood as a childbirth educator, birth and postpartum doula, and breastfeeding counselor. Kate delights in spending her free time with her two children and her partner cooking, crafting, and generally relaxing with their three cats in the comfort of home.
