About Allan M. Delman
Dr. Delman is a native of Queens, New York. After attending the Albany Medical School of Union University in Albany, New York and completing an internship at NYU/Bellevue Medical Center, he moved to southern California for his orthopedic training at the UCLA Center for Health Sciences Medical Center in Los Angeles (Westwood). Following his residency at UCLA, he completed a one-year fellowship in Spine Surgery and Spinal Deformities at NYU in New York. He then returned to San Pedro, California where he has been in private practice since 1983. Dr. Delman has been a consultant in Spine Surgery for the Shriners Hospital in Los Angeles and for Kaiser Hospital, Los Angeles. Dr. Delman’s interest in orthopaedic surgery was motivated, in part, by his interest in sports. He played Division 1 basketball and baseball at the University of Buffalo. He currently enjoys playing golf, exercising, traveling and spending time with his family.
