Anna Spann, CNM

Anna grew up in Plano, Texas, which is a large suburb of Dallas. She graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology. After graduating, Anna joined the Peace Corps in Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast). Anna worked with mothers on family nutrition as well as HIV/AIDS awareness.

After nursing school and two years of labor and delivery nursing work, Anna and her husband moved to Portland for her graduate studies in midwifery. Anna has two daughters and loves the Portland area. In her spare time, Anna loves to nap, bake, shop for a good bargain, and tickle her girls. She also loves the sun, so you can find her outside in the summers gardening, hiking and lounging.
