About Darlene J. Dodson

Dr. Dodson was born in Indiana but grew up mostly in Boise, Idaho. She moved to Portland to attend Reed College in 1983 and received a BA in Biology. She lived in Germany for two years before earning her MD degree from the University of Washington in 1992.

Dr. Dodson completed residency at Oregon Health Sciences University. She is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and was in private practice for a number of years.

Dr. Dodson and her husband have two sons and a daughter. They enjoy travel to Europe, Peru, The Caribbean Islands, Mexico and Alaska. Her interests also include music, SCUBA diving, swimming and outdoor recreation. She enjoys Oregon's coastlines, mountains, and cultural and sports events.
