Aqdas Kuraishi, MD, is board-certified in family practice. He earned his medical degree at the University of Toronto and completed his internship and residency training at McMaster University Medical Center in Ontario, Canada. He spent one year in Australia learning more surgery and anesthesia. He has practiced in Canada, Australia, Oregon and California.He taught at UCLA, UCI, and Loma Linda University in Southern California.
Dr. Kuraishi who received a "Best Doctor" award in 2006, believes that his genuine interest in human beings helps to make him a good doctor. He has taught at UCLA, UC-Irvine, and Loma Linda University, among others.
In his leisure time, he likes to play the guitar, garden, paint with water colors, and play tennis. He is able to communicate medical issues in Spanish and has a basic understanding of Urdu and French.
