Bruce M. Stark, MD

Bruce Stark, MD, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine. In 2009, he became one of the first group of doctors to be certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Addiction Medicine. Dr. Stark is an active member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine. He understands that addiction is a brain disease and requires a comprehensive, holistic and compassionate approach. Dr. Stark provides pain management treatment plans for patients with such conditions as chronic low back pain, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis and headaches. He uses an integrative medical approach to chronic pain combining vitamins, amino acids, prescription medications and alternative treatment modalities to help improve patients' quality of life and level function. Dr. Stark routinely provides medical therapy for mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD and sleep disorders. Dr. Stark is a member of the Providence Saint Joseph Medical Staff providing care in internal medicine, addiction medicine and pain medicine.
