About James J. Ong
Dr. James Ong, board certified in cardiology and electrophysiology, received his medical education from the University of California San Diego School of Medicine. His residencies were completed at UCLA Medical Center and UCLA Wadsworth VA Medical Center. His fellowships in cardiology and electrophysiology were completed at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He is affiliated with numerous medical societies, including the Heart Rhythm Society and the American College of Cardiology. His clinical interests include invasive cardiac electrophysiology, ablations, device-based therapies including pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators and cardiac resynchronization therapy. Dr. Ong speaks English and Chinese. Dr. Ong is a member of the Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center staff providing care in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology.
