"I chose otolaryngology because of my desire to help relieve the suffering of others due to illness. Otolaryngology includes a wide range of diseases and conditions that can affect people at any stage in life. This diversity makes the practice both challenging and rewarding."
Dr. Burningham earned his medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. He completed an internship in general surgery and a residency in otolaryngology at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. In addition, he completed a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. Dr. Burningham is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and a Diplomat of the American Board of Otolaryngology. A native of Portland, Dr. Burningham enjoys running, gardening and spending time with his wife, family and friends. He is involved with medical staff leadership at Providence.
