About Katie Himel
Katie moved to Oregon in 1995 from Colorado to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Portland. She then worked as a neonatal nurse for eight years before returning to school for a Master of Science in Nurse-Midwifery from Oregon Health & Science University. She is passionate about breastfeeding and has extensive experience in assisting women with lactation issues. Katie enjoys time with her family, rock climbing, snowboarding and mountain biking.
