About Ronald J. Lew

"On a daily basis, I treat patients within the entire spectrum of gastroenterology. However, my specific focus in gastroenterology centers on therapeutic endoscopy and its application to diseases of the bile ducts and pancreas, as well as gastrointestinal cancers. Whatever the situation, I feel that understanding the patient's symptoms plays a key part when making a diagnosis. And when it comes time to perform any endoscopic procedure, I always make the patient's comfort a top priority." - Ronald Lew, MD, FASGE Dr. Lew completed his undergraduate degree in molecular and cell biology at the University of California at Berkeley and received his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. He completed an internal medicine residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Southern California.
