Heena Doshi, MD, brings the mind of a scientist and the heart of a humanist to her profession as a family medicine physician. “In choosing my career, I was attracted to decoding the human body,” she recalls, “but I was even more drawn to patient care and building long-term relationships.”
In her practice today, Dr. Doshi focuses on the whole patient, upholding essential and valuable skills of listening, interacting, and relating to her patients. “If you choose me as a physician, I invite you to put your trust in me,” she says, reassuringly, “and I promise to be your advocate and caretaker in all your care and wellbeing.”
Dr. Doshi earned her medical degree from Nil Ratan Sircar Medical College in Calcutta, India, and completed her family practice residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center.
Born and raised in Kolkata, India, Dr. Doshi is highly involved in Indian culture and her local Indian community. She loves spending time with friends and family, as well as reading, debating, traveling, watching movies, and listening to classical music. Dr. Doshi is committed to the cause of organ donation.
