About Amy S. Friday

Greetings. I am a clinical psychologist specializing in geropsychology and neuropsychology. I primarily complete neuropsychological assessments to give patients and doctors information about brain functioning (memory, decision making, etc). OPAL, an institute for Passionate Aging and Living, is the organization through which I help people embrace and optimize their aging experience. I work with patients to use brain, emotional, and social strengths and resources to work around areas of weakness or problems. Are you worried whether someone is suffering from depression, dementia, or other medical or emotional problems? We work with you and your doctors to answer those questions. We also offer capacity evaluations to help families and courts understand when someone can make decisions to manage money, live independently, or change wills. OPAL Institute staff are happy to be a resource if you have questions about assisting an aging loved one, easing transitions to new living arrangements, dealing with driving issues, or other concerns. Visit our website or contact us directly to learn more.
