Lakshmidevi V. Putta, MD

Lakshmidevi Putta, MD, is board certified in family medicine. She received her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Siddhartha Medical College and Research Institute, India. She completed her internship at University General Hospital, India and her externship at the University of South Alabama. Her residencies were completed at Sinai Hospital in Michigan, St. Catherine's Hospital in Wisconsin, and Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Pennsylvania. She also completed a fellowship at the University of Alabama. Dr. Putta is a member of the American Association of Family Physicians, the American Medical Women's Association, the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine, and the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology. Dr. Putta's clinical areas of expertise includes vacuum assisted delivery, C-section, OB ultrasound, circumcision, splinting and casting, and thoracentesis. Dr. Putta has taught and trained many residents and medical students as Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Texas South Western. She is committed to excellence in comprehensive health care for women, children and family in in a variety of clinical situations. Dr. Putta is a member of the Providence Saint Joseph Medical Staff providing care in family medicine.
