Amer J. Mirza, MD

Dr. Amer Mirza is an orthopaedic surgeon who joined Summit Orthopaedics in 2014 with a subspecialty interest and training in Adult Arthritis & Joint Replacement Surgery. He previously served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at OHSU. Dr. Mirza brings his expertise in Adult Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery along with Adult Fracture Care to the Summit orthopaedic team. His practice focuses on personalized care for patients of all ages seeking to reduce pain, improve function, and return to active lifestyles. Dr. Mirza is a board certified by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS). He grew up in Boulder, Colorado and attended the University of Colorado for his undergraduate bachelors degree. After graduating from college he attended Oregon Health & Science University for Medical School and residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery. Treat and give each individual the care you would want for yourself or anyone in your family. Although he was not born in Oregon he proudly refers to himself as an “Adopted Oregonian” after having spent the nearly the last 20 years in Oregon. He has many interests outside of work however cherishes most spending time with his wife and two children.
