Dr. Barlow received his Bachelor's Degree in 1985 from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Washington School of Medicine in 1990. He completed his residency in 1996 in General Surgery (2 years) and Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery (4 years), also at the University of Washington. His basic premise in practicing medicine is listening to the patient. “I really enjoy the wide variety of my practice and the ability to provide continuity of care. It is very rewarding to treat all ages, and multiple members of the same family.” Dr. Barlow is a Diplomat of the American Board of Otolaryngology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Dept. of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Washington School of Medicine.

Dr. Barlow was raised on a farm in southern Idaho. He is married with two daughters. In his free time, Dr. Barlow enjoys spending time with his family, snow skiing, golf and following college football.
